East Bend is a tiny town located in the state of North Carolina. With a population of 633 people and two associated neighborhoods, East Bend is the 453rd largest community in North Carolina.Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, East Bend is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 36.71% of the East Bend workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 27.7%. Overall, East Bend is a town of professionals, construction workers and builders, and sales and office workers.
