Darien is a very small coastal city (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Georgia. With a population of 1,558 people and two associated neighborhoods, Darien is the 291st largest community in Georgia.Darien is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs.
