Clearwater is a larger medium-sized coastal city (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 117,027 people and 44 associated neighborhoods, Clearwater is the 18th largest community in Florida.Unlike some cities, Clearwater isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Clearwater are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Clearwater is a city of sales and office workers, professionals, and service providers. However, Clearwater contains both very wealthy and poor people as well. Clearwater is an extremely ethnically-diverse city. The greatest number of Clearwater residents report their race to be White, followed by Black or African-American.
