Kiowa is a tiny town located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 733 people and two associated neighborhoods, Kiowa is the 193rd largest community in Colorado. Housing costs in Kiowa are among some of the highest in the nation, although real estate prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive communities in Colorado.Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Kiowa is generally considered to be a blue-collar town. 36.21% of the Kiowa workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 27.7%.
