Cibolo is a somewhat small town located in the state of Texas. With a population of 9,286 people and just one neighborhood, Cibolo is the 233rd largest community in Texas.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Cibolo is neither predominently one or the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Cibolo is a town of sales and office workers, managers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Cibolo who work in office and administrative support jobs (18.73%), sales jobs (12.04%), and management occupations (11.39%).

There are many members of the armed forces living in Cibolo. You will notice when you visit or live here that some of the people you meet or see around town are employed by the armed services - even if they are not always in uniform.

Cibolo is a small town, and as is often the case with smaller towns, the population isn't large or dense enough to support much in the way of a public transportation system. In fact, there are many rural roads around Cibolo, which makes walking or biking to and from work a bit difficult. This makes for a very car-oriented town: 98.5% of residents commute to work by private automobile, and people often drive out of town for work, shopping, and other activities.

Cibolo is a somewhat ethnically-diverse town. The people who call Cibolo home come from a variety of different races and ancestries. The most prevalent race in Cibolo is White, followed by African-American. Cibolo also has a sizeable Hispanic population (people of Hispanic origin can be of any race). People of Hispanic or Latino origin account for 16.38% of the town's residents. Important ancestries of people in Cibolo include German, English, Irish, and Polish.
