Boone is a somewhat small town located in the state of North Carolina. With a population of 13,447 people and four constituent neighborhoods, Boone is the 72nd largest community in North Carolina.

Boone is a decidedly white-collar town, with fully 92.20% of the workforce employed in white-collar jobs, well above the national average. Overall, Boone is a town of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals.
