Juneau is a medium-sized coastal borough (ie. on the ocean or tidally-influenced rivers) located in the state of Alaska. With a population of 30,711 people and six constituent neighborhoods, Juneau is the second largest community in Alaska.

Juneau is neither predominently blue-collar or white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Juneau is a borough of sales and office workers, professionals, and managers. There are especially a lot of people living in Juneau who work in office and administrative support jobs (19.19%), management occupations (9.97%), and sales jobs (7.60%).
